Next I worked for 4 years at Sephora as a beauty advisor, and here I fully started to develop product knowledge. I was determined to be a giant sponge on product information and I became obsessed with learning everything I could about not only every product in the store, but other products on the market and the differences that made them all unique. This was where I learned about brand philosophies, and what to keep in a professional kit.

While working at Sephora, I worked for a salon as an in-house makeup artist. Salon makeup artist life is where I dove deeper into the business and client relations, as well as working larger party size events and evolving my skill to be the best in can be in a shorter appointment timeframe in high pressure/ faced paced situations.

Sometimes I believe I thrive under pressure. This is where I discovered my love for wedding parties and the excitement of getting someone ready for their special day.

Finally, I am now the owner of a freelance makeup business, doing what I love and bringing it to people on some of the biggest occasions in their lives.

I am constantly diving into education trying new techniques, seeing what works and what doesn’t and loving every step.

Makeup has always been my way to a career I can see myself doing long term, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
