Bridal previews/ trials are taken in studio and are recommended for 2-3 months prior to your wedding date. I do not require trials, however I do encourage them to figure out exactly the look we are going for on the big day.
These appointments are identical to your bridal appointment, preferably scheduled in the mornings to ensure the staying power of the look is put to the test before the wedding day.
I document all products/ take pictures and videos to ensure your look is the same the day of if no changes are requested.
**False lashes and touchup kits are included with every appointment type. **
My process…
One of the areas I always wanted to focus on while developing my makeup artistry, is to be able to adapt and do any look that the client asks for while still maintaining my process.
Although I have a signature style, which tends to be more neutral soft glam, I can produce any look from extremely natural, to very dramatic.
No matter what inspo pic you bring me I will do my best to execute it according to your facial features. Whether you have a super specific vision, or you have no idea what look you want, I will always talk you through the process start to finish so you’ll feel comfortable in your look.
What to do before your makeup appointment…
Good makeup starts with good skin, and good skin comes from good skin routines leading up to the appointment. Although I do a thorough skin prep/ mini facial with each service, there are some steps you can take at home in the week leading up to your appointment to help the makeup sit its absolute best!
Gentle dermaplaning at home with a facial razor or by a professsional
Gentle chemical exfoliant twice in the week leading up to appointment. Do this 2-3 days apart. (My go to are the Sephora brand skincare line glow peel pads)
Moisturize! Moisturize!! Moisturize!!! Every night before bed the week leading up to your appointment, apply a deeply moisturizing cream or mask! There is only so much one application of a good moisturizer can do to get the skin balanced and hydrated.
Make sure any and all facial waxing is done at least 24 hours before appointment. If waxing is done less than 24 hours before appointment, it could result in irritation and base makeup may have and issue sticking to the freshly waxed areas.
Make sure spray tan is blended down neck if you are doing a spray tan before your appointment!
